Dennis Kwok spoke at the Committee to Protect Journalists on Dec. 5. He spoke about the risks for international media companies and journalists operating in the China region, and particularly, about the travesty of justice concerning Jimmy Lai and his media company, Next Digital.

“The political persecution against him and other foreign non-PRC media organizations will not stop here,” Kwok said. “New laws will be in place later this year that will further change the national security landscape in Hong Kong.”
