International Human Rights

Throughout his legal career, Dennis Kwok has taken on numerous human rights and constitutional cases. He frequently advises on international human rights issues and work with NGOs around the world. During his time in public office, he worked on legal issues concerning refugees, modern slavery and international human trafficking.  Dennis is supported by his colleagues, including Mark Elliott, who has extensive international experience, including litigations against the Central Bank of Iraq and the Republic of North Korea.

Fighting on behalf of physicians and medical practices, Ilene Jaroslaw has successfully persuaded courts throughout the United States to enjoin unconstitutional state laws that violate violate women’s reproductive rights  Ilene was lead trial counsel in federal district court in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in the landmark U.S. Supreme Court case of June Medical Services LLC v. Russo, 591 U.S. ___ (2020); 2020 WL 3492640 (June 29, 2020). Ilene has also served as an official observer of the Guantanamo Military Commissions at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba as a representative of the American Bar Association.
